Copyright Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Flourish Public Benefit LLC ("Flourish", "we", "us") respects the intellectual property of others and expects the people who use our Services to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us that material on our Services infringes your copyright, and how to respond if your material was removed. It follows the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, and is part of our Terms of Service.

What this policy covers

This policy covers material that Flourish stores or shows on its own Services: what people post, upload or share there for others to see, and our website. Records kept in an organization's own Salesforce org, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or other account belong to that organization and are held by that service, even when one of our products works with them. For those, please contact the organization or the service.

Reporting infringement

If you believe material on our Services infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send our Copyright Agent (below) a written notice that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner;
  2. the copyrighted work you claim is infringed or, if several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them;
  3. the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient for us to find it, such as its web address;
  4. your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

A notice that leaves out any of these may not be effective. Before you send one, please consider whether the use could be a fair use. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.

What we do with a notice

When we receive a notice that meets these requirements, we promptly remove or disable access to the material it identifies. We then tell the person who posted the material, and give them a copy of the notice so they can respond.

Counter-notices

If your material was removed and you believe that happened because of a mistake or misidentification, you may send our Copyright Agent a written counter-notice that includes:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before;
  3. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification; and
  4. your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Flourish may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice, or their agent.

We send the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell our Copyright Agent within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to keep the material down, we restore it no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, we disable or end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
